Product description
Use
- Polypropylene compression fittings are designed for quick and safe connection of all types of polyethylene pipes (LDPE, MDPE, HDPE80, HDPE100) and PEX-a without the need to dismantle the fitting.
- They guarantee a perfectly tight connection and a long service life at low purchase costs.
- They are approved for drinking water and UV resistant.
Features
- range of manufactured diameters: d16 – d110
- allow repeated assembly, joining pipes of unequal wall thickness and immediate system start-up
- into operation
- thanks to the sealing ring with a trapezoidal profile, it seals perfectly even when using slightly oval or
- scratched pipes
- Materials: body, nut and pressure ring: UV stabilized polypropylene copolymer PP-B
- clamping ring: POM
- sealing ring: NBR d16 – d63: 70 Shore, d75 – d110: 60 Shore
- reinforcing ring: stainless steel AISI 430
- Cut the pipe perpendicular to the axis and make a bevel on the outer edge. The fitting seal is greased at the factory. If the seal is dry (e.g. during repeated assembly), grease it with a suitable grease, e.g. silicone grease or silicone oil. For easier assembly, you can also grease the end of the pipe. Loosen the fitting nut, do not remove the nut completely.
- Mark the insertion depth on the pipe to visually check correct installation. Push the fitting onto the pipe over the clamping ring until it reaches the first resistance, which means the pipe has reached the seal.
- Push the pipe through the seal until you reach the stop in the fitting.
- Tighten the nut. The nuts of fittings up to and including d32 are usually tightened by hand without using a tool. The nuts of fittings d40 and larger are tightened with a suitable tool. To tighten the nuts, use a wrench or special wrenches designed for this purpose.
